Dried leaflets of Cassia Acutifola and Cassia Angustifolia. Family Leguminosae.
Contains: Anthroquinone glycosides[Sennocide “A,B,C,D” , Aloe-emoidin] and Mucilage.
Used as: Laxative in small dose and Purgative in large dose. - Datura Leaf:
Dried leaves without or without flowering tops of Datura Stramonium, Family Solanaceae.
Contains: Alkaloids[Hyoscine, Hyoscyamine & Atropine]
Used as: Sedative in motion sickness, mydriatic and antispasmodic. - Belladonna Herb:
Dried leaves without or without flowering tops ofAtropa Belladonna, Family Solanaceae.
Contains: Hyoscyamine, Hyoscine & small amount of atropine if not at all. plus Pyridine base.
Used as: Local anaethetic, antispasmodic, relieve pain externally and cough sedative internally. - Hyoscyamus Leaf:
Dried Leaves and flowering tops of hyoscyamus muticus, family solanaceae.
Contains: Hyoscyamine and traces of atropine and hyoscine.
Used as: antispasmodic,cerbrospinal sedative, ttt insomina and eye examination. - Mentha leaf:
Dried leaves and flowering tops of Metha piperitae, Family Labiatae.
contains: Menthol - menthone - menthyle acetate - pyrogallol tannin.
Used as: carminative - flavoring agen, toothpast - mouth wash, aromatic stimulant - counter irritant - antiseptic
